...or at least I am! Keito-You crazy woman! You're always so pretty! GAWD.
That aside, I'm submiting weekly sketch assignments again. ^^; This week's assignment was to draw a friend. I was faced with a the problme that the friends I see daily CAN'T sit still for more that 3 minutes, and the ones who can live very far away. I had to settle for the next best thing and use a photo, hence my choice of since she seems to like taking self-portraits.
Her original photo was very nice and I think I don't do it much justice. I was rushed to finish this (it's a day late by the way) and I really regret it.
Done in prismacolor pencils on hotpress paper (lord only knows why I decided to pencil on watercolor paper...strange). The scrap of paper is only 7"x5.5". In school I frequently work 11"X14" or larger so I wanted to do something a bit smaller for the sake of my sanity (m yassignments in school seem to be pilling up too, which doesn't help! :sheakefist:)
Scanner murder of course occured. The lips are a nice shade of light pink in the original--not purple, but no amount of photoshop could get this looking normal again. I gave up and resigned myself to spanish homework.

I'm just the opposite! Most of my black and white drawings aren't very good. ^^;
